Bhubaneswar( Orissa): With the divers of Indian Navy working over time to locate the missing dead bodies of Greyhounds Jawans of Andhra Pradesh in Balimela Reservoir in Malkangiri district, the Central Military Commission of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) has hailed the cadres of People's Liberation of Guerrilla Army (PLGA) for successful 'Operation Chitrakonda' .
"We hailed the PLGA of the Andhra-Orissa border for Operation Chitrakonda across the Balimela reservoir under the South-Western Police range of Orissa on June 29," Commission chief Basavaraj and Central Committee spokesman Azad in a joint statement said on Sunday.
Describing the Greyhounds as a force that had unleashed a reign of terror in AP, the top Maoists leaders warned the Greyhounds that if they venture into the neighbouring Orissa and Chhattisgarh again to conduct "anti-Maoists operation ", they would meet the same fate as their colleagues near in Malkangiri district.
"Our PLGA forces will carry out joint counter-campaigns and deal effective blows to the security forces," the statement reads.
The outlawed outfit in their statement also turned down the offer of talks by AP Home Minister K Jana Reddy after the ambush of the Greyhounds.
The party made it cleared that it would not repeat its mistake of parleying with the Government. They said that they would not make any mistake of going in for talks with these double-dealers (Congressmen) .
They blamed Andhra Chief Minister Y S Rajaekhara Reddy and Home Minister Jana Reddy for the failure of the talks in 2004 and charged them with hypocrisy in saying that violence had no place in democracy.
