CHEATING COLLEGES

Have you finished your post-graduation coure in anatomy ,physiology, pharmacology or other pre/para clinical courses in medical education? You have a great opportunity to cheat Governments, students and yourself.

NON TAXABLE INCOME:-

Once a doctor finishes his PG course in above subjects he usually joins a Medical college. These years he will get a salary of 25-50,000 /month. If he gets more than 30,000/month only 20,000 will be the official salary and the amount more than that is 'BLACK' , called as 'RED COVER' in some colleges. No one will pay tax for this 'RED COVERED' salary. This is only one way of cheating.

According to rules of Medical council of india a person can work only in one medical college, if he works [and if he is caught] he will be dismissed from working as a teacher for 3-5 years. But the same person can work in a dental or nursing college in addition to medical college.

A lecturer from a Medical college in K'taka earns about 1.5-2 lakhs/annum from a dental college somewhere in North india . He will not give any lecture to those students; students will not even hear his voice!!! Just by giving xerox copies of PG marks card, Medical council registration certificate and degree certificate he will become a staff of the college that he has not seen !!!

The college will show him as a staff working in their college from many years and they will maintain a attendance register and lecturer's sign will be forged by them. If it becomes mandatory then the lecturer will come to the college for 2-3 days during inspection from dental councils.

RACKET:-

The above proceedings take place with the help of some Professors of pre and para clinical subjects in K'taka who act as "BROKERS" to supply the staff [?] to colleges who need them just for the sake of getting recognition. These professors will get a good amount of commission from the colleges.

ARE THEY UNAWARE?:-

All these problems arise because of different councils for medical and dental education. Many of the members who inspect the colleges are aware of these facts. But in a society of corruption everything is "OK".

LACK OF LECTURERS:-

Another reason for this is lack of qualified doctors.
The Government of K'taka is opening Government colleges in a row in all Districts, even in Districts which already has a private college. This is a welcome act since the country needs more Doctors. But even the Government ,just for the sake of recognition transferred the staff of Hubli Medical college to other colleges and retransferred them to Hubli after inspection. When Government itself is wrong what to speak about private sector?
